Sean the new manager has a good attitude and has unfortunately been met with a culture of mismanagement and complacency from the staff he inherited. The maintenance of the facility is atrocious. The mains staff and Jessie all Smoke cigarettes constantly around the clubhouse and have trash everywhere. They believe they are entitled and say it is their area. I would not have moved here had I known the staff believes they own the place and we the pets that should stay online around them. I pay to live here not be intimidated and dismissed. While being scolded by Jessie for Expressing my payed for impressions of This place and the maintenance and his incompetence

Best place to live

I've owned and rented in Ann Arbor for over 50 years. I've lived at The Emerson for over a year. The staff is extraordinary. Even though there has been some staff turnover, the culture of commitment to tenant service is carried over. The maintenance manager, Ken has been a constant and gone beyond my expectations repeatedly. When they finished my renovations ahead of schedule and the cleaning people weren't available, Ken and Sean, the property manager came over to clean the cabinets so I could set up the kitchen in my new cabinets and appliances. Just one example of superb service. I look forward to staying here for a long time.

Best Maintenance Crew

Since we moved in August 2024, there have been several maintenance requests we've submitted for issues big and small. Without fail, usually within one business day, either JT or Brian has come by to fix the problem. They are both courteous, experienced, and extremely thorough! It has given us such a sense of relief and comfort to know that we can always count on the maintenance folks here at Emerson. We are extremely grateful to JT and Brian for all of their work!
